Zen on the River
We needed to be calmed and the rough edges washed away. This exquisite property did just that. Spacious but not so grand you feel lost. You felt at home. You felt intrigued by the many beauitufl objects and numerous books. Time slowed and the river ran by. A mulitilevel experience of sight and sound. The epitome of Glamping.

Family Celebration
I stayed at this beautiful home with my family in celebration of my retirement! This was the perfect place to wind-down and spend a relaxing time. There wasn't one thing we needed that wasn't provided. The home was impeccably clean and welcoming. All of the beds are top-quality and when combined with the sounds of the river, you can't help but have a great night's rest. Sanctuary as home.
The attention to detail and the calm is what every person wants. To absorb Water Energy, to gaze into fires, to just BE. Primal needs set in a high design setting. Things to look at and discover. Our dog Maxwell loved the visit too. Daily walks around the grounds and smelling the orange, lemon, and lime blossoms with some whiffs of rose and herbs. Beds comfortable. Bathrooms delightful surprises from an outdoor shower to a full steam room with waterfall and rain head shower. Kitchen is very easy to use. And the dining table is the best seat in the house. One you would want if in a restaurant. We see this as a yearly retreat. One just has to.

Omg, I loved this place so much! The roaring river lulling me to sleep at night...I’m missing it right now! So many great touches—hammocks, a tree swing, the fabulous fire pit with a fire already set up for us!!! The house was stylish and functional, and the property is a dream. You can really get in touch with nature, in perfect privacy.

This is a top notch property!
Sequoia Falls is a beautiful home! Chris had fresh flowers, homemade salsa and chips and a dog treat on each of the dog beds he provided - all special and unexpected touches. The setting is amazing and very close to the entrance of Sequoia National Park. This is a top notch property!

Unforgettable place.
The surroundings and parks are amazing and we didn’t want the leave the house at all! It was so beautiful and cozy. It has everything you could wish for, amazing beds, great equipped kitchen, cool design... Would love to come back :))

It is really hard to put into words just how truly magical this place is.
I wish I could give this property more than five stars! Let me start by saying that I love finding really amazing properties for vacations and my family has stayed at some pretty incredible places and Sequoia Falls is hands down the BEST property we have ever rented. It is really hard to put into words just how truly magical this place is. The house is incredible. Literally, everything down to the soap dish in the ultra modern bathroom is AMAZING! The decor is fabulous and this house has everything you could ever want while on vacation. And then there are the stunning property grounds…there really are no words that explain their beauty. The grounds are meticulously kept (and so very spacious) with beautiful seating, wind chimes, sculptures, etc. in so many places. It’s hard to decide where to relax because the magnificent spots are endless! I could go on and on but this is seriously a place not to be missed. I am just so grateful that the owners have decided to share this spectacular home with others. Oh, and communication with the owners is superb! BEST. RENTAL. EVER!

We had the most fabulous stay at this incredible home. There really are no words that can do this property justice. While the pictures are amazing, the property is even more spectacular in person. Every detail of the house is absolutely incredible and meticulous and the grounds are nothing short of magical. Gorgeous scenery with beautiful seating areas are plentiful. We have stayed in some really amazing places before and this was hands-down our entire family‘s favorite rental ever. We are so grateful that the owners are sharing this incredible space with others. We cannot wait to return!

Luxury River Retreat
This luxury river retreat is amazing! House is comfortable, relaxing and beautiful! Everything has been anticipated for a carefree stay. This tranquil place is my happy place. Breathtaking at any time of the year!
We have now stayed at this stunning home many times, but never during the winter. It did not disappoint! It was an absolutely magical experience. When we discovered that we had a few days to drive up and stay in Three Rivers we jumped at the chance! My kids could hardly sleep the night before they were so eager to return to this gorgeous house nestled in a beautiful river setting. As soon as we pulled up to the house we could hear the rushing waters in the river. We had never experienced the river at this time of year. The areas that we would normally cross in the fall were overflowing with rapid waters. It was incredible to see. We took advantage of being so near the park and planned a day of sightseeing and sledding. I grew up in Canada and have seen many, many snowy days, but there was something otherworldly about the drive up the mountain roads. The huge trees hung heavy with snow over the pristine winding paths and hills. The kids and I found an area in the park for sledding that was perfect. If you have never in your life gone sledding (like my kids who grew up in LA) it was spectacular. The snow ranged from 4 to 15 feet deep with an incredible vista of massive trees. After many trips down and up the hill we grabbed some hot chocolate and built an army of snowmen! We are always on the look out for wildlife, and we were amazed when we saw a bobcat, possum and a whole family of deers. Once we returned to the house we had marshmallows and enjoyed the view of the sun setting behind the hills. I love waking up early at the house and looking out the many windows to see the river. It is such a quiet time of day, and on my last day I saw a large crane sitting on one of the huge boulders in the water. As I slowly walked out to the wrap around porch he lifted off and gracefully flew out across the flowing water into the hills. There is nothing better then to take a moment and stand on the porch to watch the sun slowly creep down the hill and start the day. This house holds a special place in my heart. It really feels like home away from home. Whenever we stay here whether it is a few days or longer I feel relaxed and rejuvenated. It really is an escape from everything. I often will take a long sweeping video of the house and river to look back on when I need a quiet moment. This house offers a wonderful place to go either for a quiet getaway or time spent with your family climbing and exploring the rocky landscape.

Always an incredible recharge.
We have stayed here before and are always excited to return. Even though we are near the beautiful Sequoias, we never feel the need to explore (maybe one day!) It is so relaxing to be at the house, to relax and read, to play down by the river, to sit by the fire. We had the very good fortune this trip to have seen the rain turn to snow right before our eyes! Looking forward to our return already, even though we haven’t planned it yet! 😊

The home was full of exquisite details.
We stayed here with family visiting from overseas. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by an amazing platter of fruits and snacks. The home was full of exquisite details. The views were also amazing with sounds of the river streams at all times. It was a perfect retreat for people of all ages - even our parents who were 90+ enjoyed the space very much. We were blown away by the hospitality, the home, the views and were all sad to leave. Hope to be back again!

The house is perfection.
The river is magic. And if you want to hug the biggest tree in the world, it's right up the street. Every single person that stayed at the house completely de-stressed instantly and was sad to leave. The house truly has everything and the area surrounding is a true natures playground.

Do not hesitate...book your stay at Sequoia Falls!!
From the host's quick, informative, and hospitable responses, to the thoughtful and beautiful design, fully stocked kitchen/living areas, and of course the spectacular and peaceful location, Sequoia Falls is not to be missed. All the basics exceeded expectations: everything perfectly clean, property as-described, nothing missing in the kitchen or any other space (the coffee-lovers among us appreciated the french press and grinder). Beyond the basics, the light-filled space, citrus orchard outside, access to the river, amazing bathrooms (and steam-room), and 15 minute trip to the park, make this an absolutely ideal spot for a family trip or gathering of friends. Nothing was out of place or missing. If you want to go to Sequoia or simply need a relaxing, peaceful place to stay and disconnect from the daily chaos, treat yourself to some time here. I know I will be back very soon!
