Gorgeous house, gorgeous views and gorgeous location...what more can I say.
This home in Three Rivers is like a dream. If you are looking for a true escape from reality then this is the place for you. My family has been staying here every year for the past several years and can't wait for the 10 days that we book for our holiday. We actually have to put a calendar on the fridge with a countdown because the kids drive us nuts asking us when do we leave?! We are very busy with work and four young kids so when the time comes to just relax and enjoy each other's company this is where we want to be. From the second you pull into the driveway you know you are somewhere special. Even as I write this I am so sad knowing it will be another year until we go back. The kids love exploring the rocky rushing waters, playing in the sand and building dams to see how long it stands up to the river. One early morning I woke up and looked out the window and saw a beautiful deer staring in at me. I watched him slowly make his way down the pebbly beach and eat some leaves by the swing before dashing into the woods. Every night we would gather around the fire pit on the wrap around deck roasting marshmallows listening to the rushing water from the darkness below. If you walk out onto the driveway in the evening the sky is so dark and clear that you can see shooting stars and the Milky Way. This time we were even able to see Mars! There are so many special, and thoughtfully designed areas to just sit back and take a moment to enjoy the beauty around you. The inside of the house if decorated in warm earthy tones with incredible views from every room. You feel like you are in a house featured in a travel magazine. The bedrooms are all large and beautifully decorated with lots of space for your things. It is a short drive from the house to the entrance of the Sequoia parks where you can spend a day or a few hours exploring the majestic forests and mountains. We never grow tired of seeing the incredible Sequoia trees. The winding drive up to them is worth every mile! There are several great places in the park to pull off and enjoy a hot chocolate and lunch. I enjoy every moment of our trip exploring the house as well as the friendly community of Three Rivers. My family absolutely loves our time spent together in this absolutely gorgeous home.

You will not be disappointed. This Sequoia Falls retreat is everything you could ask for and more. Chris puts his special touch on the whole experience. This is the second house of his that we have visited on the river. Both beautiful! We plan on our 6th visit in the spring. We almost want to keep it a secret. Imagine his guests all feel that way.

This house is an inspiration.
The decor is beautiful and the view is even more so. My family and I had the most relaxing and picturesque Thanksgiving here. It was well deserved and much needed and we left Three Rivers loads lighter and more at peace. We had an amazing time here: cooking as a family, jumping on the rocks by the river, taking outdoor showers, eating dinner by the fire. We would love to come back!

Incredible house and property
We celebrated my husband’s 60th birthday here with friends and family. The house exceeded expectations. So many thoughtful additions, from dog treats and bed for our Lab, to the amazing library, and well stocked kitchen. The setting is magical, with the sound of the river soothing you to sleep. There are so many special places to hang out - plenty of options for being alone or with your group. Can’t recommend it more highly. If I could give it six stars I would!

We LOVED staying at Sequoia Falls with our four kids. There is an endless amount of useable outdoor space to explore and enjoy. Every part of the property was awe inspiring and a total escape for us. From the huge deck that overlooks the river to the little bamboo zen garden, every part of this place is thoughtful and intentional. As much as we enjoyed hiking in the park we ended up changing some of our plans to actually be able to enjoy more of the house and property. Typically when we return to a destination we look forward to staying somewhere new but next time we come to hike Sequoia and Kings Canyon we will look forward to staying here again even more.

Sequoia Falls is definitely one of the best airbnbs we've stayed! It's perfect in almost every aspect from the house decor, location to hospitality and many more details. Every room is so tastefully decorated, not to mention the beautiful river view surrounding the house. There are many sitting areas around the house, each offering a perfect spot to meditate or just appreciate the nature. Also, Chris's hospitality is truly 5-star four seasons level, with so many thoughtful touches that went above and beyond our expectation. Just to name a few, the moment we checked in, we were greeted by Maria who also prepared chips/salsa and fruits. Knowing we travel with an infant baby and dog, they provided extra amenities to make sure they are cared for. Even the bonfire wood and s'more were all set up, ready for our group to enjoy. If anyone wants a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway from their busy day to day life like we do, this airbnb is no doubt the perfect spot. Thank you for everything! And we can't wait to go back!!

Hip oasis with solitude
Better than advertised! Beautifully appointed, super comfortable beds, terrific appliances, well stocked kitchen. The sound of the Kaweah River soothes the soul. The outdoor fire pit is a great place to unwind and share the events of the day. Our two dogs absoulety loved the river and were graciously thought of by the property hosts.. We look forward to staying again.

Serenity on the River
Beautiful and very relaxing vacation home. Everything was provided for and then some. If you want to get away from it all and be surrounded by nature this is the place. Great place for children to play. Plenty of rocks to climb, clean water to swim in and plenty of sand to play in. We just wish the grandkids had been with us to enjoy the place. Looking forward to our next visit and we will be bringing the grandkids. By the way our Yorkie loved chasing the lizards and swimming in the river.

Sublime Escape
Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. When we arrived early, Maria graciously welcomed us with cold water and an invitation to enjoy the river while she finished preparing the houses for our stay. My wife and I and two adult sons stayed in the main house and my oldest son stayed in the guest house with his wife and two small children. The attention to detail on this property is amazing and most appreciated. Fountains, birdhouses, wind chimes and garden art line the landscaped paths.The houses were beautifully decorated and fully stocked with anything and everything we could have needed or wanted. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious and the scenery was gorgeous. With the daytime temperature up to 102 degrees, the river was refreshing and gentle enough for the 3 year old and 8 month old to thoroughly enjoy themselves. We had the opportunity to hike to Franklin Lakes, raft down the river, kayak on the Lake Kaweah and lounge on the property. It was a pleasure preparing meals in the fully equipped kitchen and dining either in the dining room and on one of the two patios. Our family had a most excellent time. Thank you for hosting us.

Beautiful, Whimsical and Magical…
It is difficult to find words to describe this property. The home was beautiful, clean, comfortable, well-decorated, and had all the amenities we needed and so much more. There are many wonderful spaces to discover inside and out. Even as were were checking out, I discovered something I hadn’t noticed before. There was beauty and whimsy everywhere I looked…the gardens, the seating areas, the multiple swings, hammocks, fire pits, and the river! The river! We loved playing in the river. The water at the little beach on the other side of the rocks was protected and a wonderful place to hangout. We played, we fished, we skipped rocks, we splashed, we talked, we drank, and we just soaked in our environment. Working with Chris was great! When we arrived, we found chips and fresh made salsa waiting for us as well as fresh fruit and herbs from the garden. The home is located minutes from the entrance of Sequoia so we were able to take day trips easily. It was very hard for our family to leave. Young and old, we all enjoyed Sequoia Falls and hope to return. Thank you Chris!

One with Nature
The location could not be better being right next to river. What sets this property apart from others is the way they have designed everything to make you feel a part of the surroundings. There are numerous spots to sit and enjoy the serenity of the river flowing by. Deer would visit as well as bluebirds and hummingbirds. The house was spotless and had everything we needed to make our family vacation very special. They had three different refrigerators, so plenty of space to store food to cook. All of the beds were very comfortable. They had a nice TV, which we did not use because it was so much nicer to sit outside with a glass of wine and enjoy the view and talking to family. . ATT cell service worked as well as the WiFi. Chris was a very accommodating host and answered our questions promptly. It was only a few miles from the park entrance, but took a while to drive to hiking areas on the two lane road with some construction in one area. Be sure to hike early to avoid the crowds and find a parking spot. You will be very pleased if you book this house.
