"What a place!"
What a place! The location is so beautiful that I liked it more than the visit to the national park. 10 mins to the park entrance and 5 minutes to town. Feels like you are all by your self at this property. Amazing beach for the kids to play (yes they have sand toys), and a great place to swim. The balcony is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the incredible view. House is well done, super clean, and has a great host. All the details are thought of to make this a great stay even for the pickiest of travelers. I don't know how another rental house can possibly be better than this one.

“I don't even know where to begin. The house truly exceeded expectations. The design of the house itself is great--super functional and really well-done. The setting/grounds are incredible. There are comfortable seating and dining locations everywhere. It seemed like every hour we found some awesome new place to take in the mountains and river. There was a lot of thought given to the house and the grounds, and it comes through. We had so much fun with our kids and my parents making a bonfire by the river, swinging in the hammocks, having drinks on the porch and laying out on the rocks. In addition, the house is very close to town and very close to the national parks. Chris is a true professional--very responsive and thoughtful. It felt like we were staying at a 5 star resort. We will definitely be back!”

The style, the details, the furnishing, the bedding, the lighting and more is all top notch and beautiful. Every turn on the property has a delightfully surprising gem of a hang out spot. Waking up to the sound of the river every day was magical. The only downside is that so many people know about this special property so it’s booked ALL the time! Don’t think too long about booking it... even if it’s 6-12 months away... just do it. You will be grateful that you did!!!”

This beautiful riverfront home was the perfect stay for me and my family this weekend. Everything was 100% clean and we felt completely comfortable being here. We came prepared with groceries and all the necessary utensils but the house offered anything we might need for our stay. We were even provided with fresh produce to use and cook at our leisure! The backyard access to the river and fire pit was our favorite amenity and we spent every night down there. Our stay was so pleasant that we hope to come back to this house as soon as possible, when the opportunity presents itself in the future. We are completely satisfied with our stay and want to thank our hosts for giving us the opportunity to enjoy this breathtaking home.

There are special properties and then there are SPECIAL properties—this one is one of the best. Dreamy inside and out, with every comfort already in place, Sequoia Falls exceeded all our expectations and getaway hopes. Initially we could not stop gushing to each other about how ideal, gorgeous, and well-executed everything was...and then—even better—after several days and nights we actually got used to it. By the end of our four night stay, we all found ourselves truly (truly!) relaxed. It’s been a bonkers year. Like everyone, our family was overdue for some serious decompression. Sequoia Falls: thank you. Listening to the river in the sunshine, moonlight, and fresh air was immensely grounding...downright healing. I’m a native Californian who has lived all over the state. This spot is the best of Nor Cal + So Cal, the perfect overlap, the oasis I’ve been looking for all my life. Afternoons were warm enough to sunbathe on the rocks (our six and seven year olds LOVED exploring) and nights were cold and cozy, perfect for sitting around the fire hanging out. We dug all three of the fire places, especially the little campfire on the “beach,” where the firewood had already been expertly placed in the ring for our enjoyment. The house itself was chic and luxurious—Cedarwood essential oil diffuser, amazing beds, impeccable lighting. Beautiful design throughout, splendidly curated books and games...I could go on and on. We cooked all our meals and were pleasantly surprised to find a wide variety of bar and kitchen equipment in very good condition. As far as vacation rentals go, this is rare—not something to take for granted! Knives were sharp, cast-iron pans were seasoned, cupboards and pantry more abundantly stocked than any place I’ve ever stayed. Plus, a personal welcome letter with an accompanying platter of organic, local produce (including two kinds of fresh lettuce; Romanesco; butternut squash; fresh potatoes and apples) was another above-and-beyond way to spoil guests. Chris and his team are hospitality experts. Literally nothing could have improved our stay. A+ ! P.S. Our pals, a couple with a pooch, joined us halfway through and stayed in the guest house. They raved about that adjacent spot as well!

I would suggest staying as long as possible so you can enjoy the surrounding areas as well as the house. Having downtime at the house allows you to appreciate just how special it is. We have been wanting to stay here for the past 5 years, since we had the most memorable and wonderful stay at Chris's former vacation property in Three Rivers. We were oohing and aahing at all the pictures and reviews prior to arriving, and when we finally came, the experience was just as amazing as we hoped it would be! Due to the nearby fires, we weren't sure if we would be able to visit as planned. However, Chris provided local updates leading up to our weekend, and confirmed that conditions improved prior to our arrival. Chris was very responsive to all the questions I had, and is a wonderful host. The home itself is impeccably decorated. We appreciated all the thoughtful touches. We cooked some meals in the chef's kitchen, and ordered dinner to go one night and sandwiches for our Kings canyon picnic from Sierra Subs as recommended by Chris. The river and land surrounding the home is wonderful as well. Our boys loved exploring the grounds (with close parental supervision of course!). It was so nice to watch them play outside. We loved this stay at Sequoia Falls. We felt a world away for a few days, and felt so relaxed after staying here.

“Absolutely wonderful house and property!"
“Absolutely wonderful house ad property! We had three generations and everyone loved it. Tons of ways to enjoy the place from rock hopping and swimming in the river to all the great places to relax with a book. Everything is high end quality and well stocked. Also, there are no “bad” rooms. The rooms are separated and have their own bathroom (except one that has a hall bathroom). You will not regret booking this!!! This place is my dream house!”

I celebrated my 40th here with some family and it was absolutely amazing! Chris is a wonderful host and communicator and the property is just beautiful. It reminded me a lot of home in the Philippines with the decor and natural surroundings. I appreciated all the indoor plants and gardens. The home has everything you need to relax and get ready to enjoy it. We used some rosemary in the garden to cook dinner, and the kids had some fun exploring the river and watching the fish and frogs. The most thrilling is when my son and I saw a bear walking down the river on the property! Absolutely unforgettable. Thanks again Chris, everything was just magical.
