What a fantastic house! Out family had a wonderful time. The property is gorgeous and the house is fabulous, with very thoughtful hosts. This is a great base camp for Sequoia National Park--although you may be tempted to just hang out and relax by the river for the day. Highly recommended!

Amazing, beautiful, and spacious property right on the river.
This property is right on the river with plenty of spaces inside and out. Inside, there are clean and modern restrooms. The master restroom has huge roll in shower and jacuzzi tub. It was convenience for my parents, who use walkers, especially with the available teak shower chair there. Each bedroom has its own sitting small reading corners if anyone wishes to have a private space. The living room has glass walls/door to ceiling where ones can see the river on side and admire the beautiful backyard on the other side. The property has a kitchen at the main house plus a butler room to prep foods. Across the walkway, it has laundry and another refrigerator. The back house has its half kitchen. The outside surrounding is spacious and beautifully setup to relax or hang out day or night. We all loved the outdoor shower. My parents could not go down to the river but they could see us in the river from the lanai. We brought a small bucket of river water to soak their feet so they could feel the clear, fresh, cold water. Their smiles were priceless. The website's pictures capture 70% of this property's beauty. We are planning to return next summer.

An exquisite property
I was obsessed with someday visiting the owner's Kaweah Falls home, but it was sold before I was able to make that happen. I was delighted to see that he had purchased Sequoia Falls and I worked hard to arrange a visit for our group of 8 coming from L. A., the East Coast, Florida and the Midwest. Our plan was to use it as a base for hiking in Sequoia N. P. and we managed to do that, but there were days when it was very hard to leave the house. If you have read earlier reviews, I will simply say that I agree with every single superlative expressed. This property is perfection, both inside and out. Chris is a caring and professional manager and owner and makes the rental experience a pleasure. I can't recommend this home highly enough.

The location by the river is spectacular, the amenities are excellent, the room and the decorations are modern cool, and every nook has a place to lounge. It is so worth every penny!

The attention to detail on the property is beyond compare. The location, the architecture, the interior, the amenities, the landscaping, and working with the owner were/are incomparable. Words cannot begin to explain the beauty and tranquility of this home and property.
The design and decor of the home are beautiful and modern, and yet comfortable and inviting. The property is gorgeous and there are multiple, what feel like secret, hideaways where you and other guests can relax-hammocks, tree swing, covered seating overlooking the river, bench on the river’s edge where you can dangle you feet into the river and more. Zen on the River
We needed to be calmed and the rough edges washed away. This exquisite property did just that. Spacious but not so grand you feel lost. You felt at home. You felt intrigued by the many beauitufl objects and numerous books. Time slowed and the river ran by. A mulitilevel experience of sight and sound. The epitome of Glamping.

Family Celebration
I stayed at this beautiful home with my family in celebration of my retirement! This was the perfect place to wind-down and spend a relaxing time. There wasn't one thing we needed that wasn't provided. The home was impeccably clean and welcoming. Sanctuary as home.
The attention to detail and the calm is what every person wants. To absorb Water Energy, to gaze into fires, to just BE. Primal needs set in a high design setting. Things to look at and discover. Our dog Maxwell loved the visit too. Daily walks around the grounds and smelling the orange, lemon, and lime blossoms with some whiffs of rose and herbs. Beds comfortable. Bathrooms delightful surprises from an outdoor shower to a full steam room with waterfall and rain head shower. Kitchen is very easy to use. And the dining table is the best seat in the house. One you would want if in a restaurant. We see this as a yearly retreat. One just has to.

Omg, I loved this place so much! The roaring river lulling me to sleep at night...I’m missing it right now! So many great touches—hammocks, a tree swing, the fabulous fire pit with a fire already set up for us!!! The house was stylish and functional, and the property is a dream. Sequoia Falls is a beautiful home! Chris had fresh flowers, homemade salsa and chips and a dog treat on each of the dog beds he provided - all special and unexpected touches. The setting is amazing and very close to the entrance of Sequoia National Park. This is a top notch property!

It is really hard to put into words just how truly magical this place is.
I wish I could give this property more than five stars! Let me start by saying that I love finding really amazing properties for vacations and my family has stayed at some pretty incredible places and Sequoia Falls is hands down the BEST property we have ever rented. It is really hard to put into words just how truly magical this place is. The house is incredible. Literally, everything down to the soap dish in the ultra modern bathroom is AMAZING! The decor is fabulous and this house has everything you could ever want while on vacation. And then there are the stunning property grounds…there really are no words that explain their beauty. The grounds are meticulously kept (and so very spacious) with beautiful seating, wind chimes, sculptures, etc. in so many places. It’s hard to decide where to relax because the magnificent spots are endless! I could go on and on but this is seriously a place not to be missed. I am just so grateful that the owners have decided to share this spectacular home with others. Oh, and communication with the owners is superb! BEST. RENTAL. EVER!

Best. Rental. Ever!
We had the most fabulous stay at this incredible home. There really are no words that can do this property justice. While the pictures are amazing, the property is even more spectacular in person. Every detail of the house is absolutely incredible and meticulous and the grounds are nothing short of magical. Gorgeous scenery with beautiful seating areas are plentiful. We have stayed in some really amazing places before and this was hands-down our entire family‘s favorite rental ever. We are so grateful that the owners are sharing this incredible space with others. We cannot wait to return!
