Perfect vacation retreat

Sequoia Falls is the perfect vacation retreat. Not only is it beautifully decorated to be a relaxed experience, but every possible need has been anticipated. Chris and Charles have done it again! We thought their last river house couldn’t be better, but this new house fits us even more perfectly. Our dogs had so much fun they kept running up to us, tails wagging to say thank you. We spent every morning and evening on the porch by the fire pit watching the river go by. So peaceful and calming with Zen like relaxation. The porch is designed so that it is comfortable in all weather conditions. Plus we had rain. If you have never experienced rain falling on a tin roof you are In for a treat! We are already planning our next vacation there, only this time we will stay longer.

Serenity Surrounds

Six senior people enjoyed the inside and the outside. Bid farewell to Fall Season of 2017 in the beautiful sound and color provided us. Our first visit to Sequoia Falls but had been to Kaweah Falls. We knew if owned by Chris and Charles we would find everything to be beyond any expectations. We were correct. Thank you.

Absolutely gorgeous!

We stayed 8 days in this fantastic house in Three Rivers! From the moment the gates swung open we knew our stay was going to be special. When we pulled up to the house we were not disappointed. The house overlooks a gorgeous rocky river with it's own private beach. Every morning when we got up we were lucky to see families of deers roaming in the fields surrounding the house. At night after roasting marshmallows we would go for a short walk along the winding driveway and looks up at the mountains seeing shooting stars and the milky way! The house itself is cozy and beautifully decorated offering full views of the gorgeous landscape and river from every room. It truly is a wonderful retreat from the noise and crowd of the city. Somewhere that you can sit and catch your breath. The house is a short drive to The Sequoia National Forest which cannot be missed! It truly is the land of the giants. The park is home to the largest trees in the world! This home in Three Rivers is like a dream, such a special, special place. Outside the house the homeowners have created lots of seating and places to get away and quietly read your book or just enjoy the river. There is a large fire pit on the beach which we used almost every night to roast marshmallow and make smores with the kids! We spent many mornings just exploring the river. Our kids had so much fun climbing the rocks and discovering hidden treasures. This house is a wonderful hidden gem in Three Rivers, a quaint little town nestled along a rocky mountain river.

Always a pleasure!

Ten minutes after we arrived, I wanted to write a review! This house is so beautiful with no detail overlooked. The decor, appliances, the sandy beach, the layout of the stunning house - all and more than we could have hoped for. Thank you, Chris and Charles, for your hospitality. We enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at the Gateway Restaurant and Lodge. So sad that we had to leave this place. As with the previous home, my family never felt the need to leave to explore the environs, even though I know how beautiful the Sequoias are. We played board games, watched movies at night, made s'mores at the fire pit, ambled over rocks in the day (complete with the token "soaker") - a perfect vacation. We will definitely be back!

Spectacular Home, Spectacular Property

The house is simply marvelous. It appears no expense was spared to create a truly luxurious experience. The design is stunning, as is the decor. I would be hard pressed to find a complaint. Similarly, the entire property is stunning. It's a beautiful landscape and the proximity to the river is a wonderful opportunity for kids (and adults) to wade, swim and scramble around the rocks. We'll be returning!

Best of the Best

Here’s what differentiates Sequoia Falls from all other vacation rentals: It doesn’t feel like a vacation rental. It feels like your best friends have loaned you their loved and lived-in home while they’re off on a trip somewhere. Of course, we knew what to expect, having stayed numerous times in Chris and Charles’s previous Three Rivers home, Kaweah Falls, but in some ways this one surpasses the previous home. It has more space, for one thing, both inside and out, and it also has more types of access to the river. The home is also furnished at a very high taste level...but we knew it would be. Finally, it was a pleasure to reconnect with Fred and Maria, who looked after our needs at the previous property and who were a welcome sight when we arrived at this one. We brought Charley, our mini Aussie along. Now, this is a pup who won’t go near our pool at home, but within a few hours he turned into SuperDog, splashing in the river and climbing on the rocks. It was so great to see the natural part of him emerge. We will of course be back, as our schedules allow. Sequoia Falls is a unique property, and we we’re grateful to Chris and Charles for making it available to us.

Already planning our next visit!

An epic weekend! Nothing sounds as wonderful as the flowing river and a home full of friends' laughter and joy. Replenishing, rejuvenating, and refreshing (especially those effervescent dips in the crisp, cool water!) We loved our stay here (IMPECCABLE) and plan to come back soon. Absolutely amazing everything ...

I would love to recommend this place to everyone. Absolutely amazing everything was ready for comfortable stay. Beautiful view, clean house, easy access to river, kitchen is fully stocked with spices and utensils, enough clean towels to enjoy swimming for three days (washing machine is ready too if you need) we just loved everything about this place. Best part was hot sauna and bath after swimming all day. They even prepared delicious food for us when we arrived He replies you very fast if you have any questions which is great. We would definitely come back here soon already miss this place.

Such a special, great place for healing yourself and others.

River front, gorgeous interior, clean and organized everything (kitchen, bedrooms, living room, dinning area), great choice of colors through out the whole house! The indoor is Cozy like home, and the outdoor is just magical and serene. :)

Fabulous House!

We have had a magical few nights here next to the river. Every detail of your home is exquisite and comfortable. We will remember our vacation forever, especially nights lying on our backs gazing up at the stars, warmed by the rocks below, listening to the river gurgling. We were lucky to be up here during the Perseid meteor shower so we saw dozens of shooting stars. Our dog Mobi is used to dry land so he learned to become a river dog here. It was amazing fun to watch him from nervously sniffing at the water’s edge, to leaping and jumping in the water, across the rocks, tail wagging. Happy dog!

A Special Place In Three Rivers!

Thank You for opening up your beautiful home for us! There certainly is PLENTY of room for our three children and their families to spread out and be comfortable… You have AGAIN created a magical place for our young grandchildren to explore…and a relaxing place for the adults to unwind. Your previous home, KAWEAH FALLS, was wonderful...but we all thought that this new home ,SEQUOIA FALLS, exceeds it in every way! Even though we come from the Valley - it feels as if we are a million miles away from home, work and responsibilities. Everything was set up perfectly! Outstanding Place.

The pictures are great but they don't do this place justice. The home features meticulous attention to detail, design, and decor and is a thoroughly enjoyable place to spend time relaxing with friends and family. We hope to be back and are sure that this place will be a hit for others as well.
